Conditions of Entry

    How to Enter:

  1. To enter the monthly e-Newsletter and monthly e-Survey competition, participants must first subscribe to the Plaza Home Imports Pty Ltd, trading as Howards Storage World e-Newsletter by registering their details in the online form provided at www.hsw.com.au prior to midnight on the last day of each month.
  2. By becoming a Howards e-member, participants will receive 1 ENTRY into the monthly draw to WIN a $100 Howards Storage World gift voucher.
  3. Once registered as a Howards e-member, members will be prompted to enter the monthly e-Survey competition. Participants will receive 1 ENTRY into the monthly draw to WIN a $500 Howards Storage World gift voucher by completing the online e-Survey.
  4. Howards e-members are not obliged to enter the monthly e-Survey competition if they choose not to.
  5. Limit of one valid email address per person.
  6. Entries are valid to Australian residents only.

    7. Monthly Prizes:

  7. The total new e-Member monthly prize pool available to be won is $100 rrp.
  8. The total quarterly e-Survey prize pool available to be won is $500 rrp.
  9. The total prize pool available to be won is $3,300rrp over 12 months.
  10. A $100 Howards Storage World Gift Card will be supplied to the first valid, randomly selected new e-member each month during the entire promotional period.
  11. A $500 Howards Storage World Gift Card will be supplied to the first, randomly selected e-member that has completed an online e-Survey during each quarter over the entire promotional period.

    12. Competition dates:

  12. Competition starts at 12 midnight 1st June, 2009.
  13. Each monthly new e-Member competition closes at midnight on the last day of each month from June 2009 to May 2010.
  14. The entire promotional period ends at 12 midnight on Monday 31st May, 2010.
  15. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry.
  16. Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
  17. All winners agree to grant Howards Storage World permission to use their name and suburb for purposes of announcing the winners.

    18. Prize draw:

  18. Each monthly prize draw for a $100 Howards Storage World Gift Card will be conducted at 10.00am on the first Friday of each month following the previous month’s closing date. The first draw will take place on Friday 3rd July, 2009. The first valid new e-member drawn from all entries received in each month between June 2009 and May 2010 will be deemed the winner. The last draw will take place on Friday 4th June, 2010. A total of 13 winners will be drawn. The draw will take place at No.4, 49 Frenchs Forest Rd, Frenchs Forest NSW 2086.
  19. Each quarterly prize draw for a $500 Howards Storage World Gift Card will be conducted at 10.00am on the following dates: Friday 4th September, 2009, Friday 4th December, 2009, Friday 5th March, 2010 and Friday 4th June, 2010. The first valid e-member drawn from all e-Survey entries received between June 2009 and May 2010 will be deemed the winner. A total of 4 winners will be drawn. The draw will take place at No.4, 49 Frenchs Forest Rd, Frenchs Forest NSW 2086.
  20. Each month, all winners will be notified by telephone, mail and/or e-mail and their names will be posted on the Howards Storage World website from Howards Storage World Group Office, No 4, 49 Frenchs Forest Rd, Frenchs Forest NSW 2086.
  21. If a monthly prize is unclaimed, an additional draw will be conducted 3 months after each draw date where the prize remains unclaimed. This unclaimed monthly prize draw will take place at 10.00am at No.4, 49 Frenchs Forest Rd, Frenchs Forest NSW 2086. The first unclaimed draw date being Friday 2nd October, 2009 and the last being Friday 1st October, 2010. The winners will be notified by telephone, mail and/or e-mail and their names will be posted on the Howards Storage World website after each unclaimed draw date.
  22. The Promoter may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this Promotion by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the Promotion or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
  23. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation. In the event for any reason a prize winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize.
  24. If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, or invalidate any affected entries, subject to the approval of the gaming authorities in each state and territory, where required.
  25. Entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database. The Promoter is not responsible for receipt of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information caused by an entrant or occurring during transmission. The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer network, or lines, servers or internet providers, traffic congestion on any computer network, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to Eligible Participants or any other person’s computer related or resulting from participation or sending or receiving of any communications or of any materials in this competition.
  26. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of this Promotion results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
  27. Each entry becomes the property of the Promoter. All details will be held in accordance with the Howards Storage World Privacy Policy and will not be disclosed to any third parties. The information entrants provide may used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this Promotion. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this Promotion or communicating with entrants and to State and Territory gaming authorities and winner’s name may be published as required under the relevant legislation. Entry into the promotion constitutes your consent to any personal information to be used by the Howards Storage World for customer database and marketing offers.   28. Partaking in this competition signifies acceptance of all conditions. The Promoter’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter reserves the right to limit entry or amend rules if considered necessary without notice.
