Rattan baskets bring a sturdier, more structured woven look than softer natural fibres, holding their shape well on open shelving or on the floor. They suit everything from magazines and toys to general household storage.
The Poly Rattan Open Weave Basket Large - Black and Poly Rattan Open Weave Basket Small - Natural give you a durable, easy-care alternative to natural rattan, in a range of sizes and finishes.
A large rattan basket works well as floor storage for throws or firewood, while smaller sizes suit shelving or a bathroom vanity. For more storage in the same natural style, browse baskets and totes.
The same open weave style extends naturally into the laundry. Pair your rattan baskets with rattan laundry hampers for a matching look throughout the home, or browse seagrass baskets for a softer natural finish.
Poly rattan is generally more durable and easier to care for than natural rattan, resisting moisture and fading better while keeping the same woven look.
Poly rattan designs handle covered outdoor areas well, though prolonged direct sun and rain exposure is best avoided.
Some designs include a fabric liner for smaller or loose items, though many open weave baskets are sold without one.
