A unique part of our concept is our structure. We are proudly a franchise group with a mix of franchised and company owned stores. Many of our franchisees and company store managers have been with us for a long time and bring a wealth of experience to Howards.

Howards Storage World originated in Australia as a single shop called “Stack and Store” in the Sydney suburb of Northbridge in the early seventies by Les and Edda Howard.  

It became Howards Storage World in 1997, after it was recognised that there was an emerging market for Storage and Organisation. Through the franchising model, it expanded throughout Australia.

Going forward, the plan is to expand and further evolve, incorporating greater sophistication in the way we do business. One thing though will never change, and that's our unswerving dedication to helping people live more organised lives. It's exciting making a difference and we LOVE it!
